To start this blog off right we’re sharing our “CUT Flour” recipe. Yes, you can buy gluten-free flour from the store. However, it’s from our experience that we know they’re not created equal. Our flour blend as been tested over and over and we promise that we’ve got it right!

It can be exchanged in many recipes that call for an all-purpose flour with usually great results! Although it shines in the gluten-free world.

The ingredients might look complicated but one trip down the organic/specialty isle or good old “Amazon” will get you everything you need.

If you’re a type “A” like us, grab your kitchen scale (it will be more accurate and you will have better results) or simply your measuring cups if you’re in a rush. Let’s do this!

Yes, you can buy gluten-free flour, but from our experience they are not created equal. Our flour blend has been tested over and over and we’ve got it right! It truly shines in the gluten-free world.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup (310g) sorghum flour

  • 1 cup (160g) brown rice flour

  • 1 cup (170g) white rice flour

  • 1 cup (140g) arrowroot starch/flour

  • 1 cup (140g) tapioca

  • 2 1/2 tsp (12g) xantham gum

Directions

  • You have an option to either mill the above ingredients to a fine powder or simply purchase them in your local grocery store or online
  • Weigh/measure all ingredients and combine them WELL using either a blender, whisk attachment on a mixer, or food processor
  • Store in an airtight container
