These nuts are also SO pretty and taste SO amazing that they make incredible gifts as well. Boom! Serve them to your guests or wrap them to take when you’re the guest.
These nuts are so quick to make up! Literally they can be in the oven within 5-10 min. We won’t lie though, they do need to bake for approximately 1.5 hrs…It’s the perfect amount of time to get those presents wrapped!
Spiced Nuts

minutesThese nuts are the perfect combination of a Christmas kitchen…cinnamon, cloves, allspice and….chili powder! That’s right, we’ve added a bit of heat to keep you warm during the winter season. They make the perfect hostess gift, or simply fill a bowl when company is over. We promise you’ll go nuts over these nuts!
Ingredients
3 cups gluten-free mixed nuts
2 egg whites
3 tbsp water
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
3 tbsp corn starch
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250°F.
- Measure nuts into medium mixing bowl.
- Beat egg whites and water with a fork or small whisk.
- Pour egg mixture over nuts and stir well. Ensure all nuts are covered in the egg white mixture.
- Combine next 7 ingredients in mixing bowl and spread over cookie sheet.
- Add nuts to sugar/spice mixture and begin to stir. Mix well to coat.
- Bake in oven approximately for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally to keep separated. When cool, store in airtight container.
