Overnight French Toast

Christmas is coming! Literally, it’s just a few days away as we write this. The holiday season is full swing and we can’t begin to tell you how excited we are – we LOVE Christmas! In fact, Meg has been known to even celebrate Christmas early in July. Stockings and all. The secret is out – we love the holidays.

Whether you are sharing the same level of excitement right now, we’re certain that everyone can agree that the holidays always bring incredible food options. In fact, this time of year encourages the most scrumptious and luxurious options available! Rich treats are available on every menu. Baking season is in full swing and grocery isles are stocked with everything and anything gourmet.

This recipe is exactly that- a simple twist on a breakfast staple that serves gourmet. A breakfast/brunch option that we promise will suit all ages and tastebuds. The best part? You can make it the night before and then simply bake it in the morning. This recipe is so simple!

Our Overnight French Toast is absolutely perfect for Christmas morning. While presents are being opened, you get to enjoy your coffee and watch all the smiles in the room. There’s no stressing that “Santa” forgot about breakfast during his filling of stockings! You’ll be the hero of the morning and enjoy your day not in the kitchen the whole time. Breakfast will simply bake and in return, serve enough to feed a small army…or all your extended family that’s come to visit for the holidays!

Filled with brioche, blueberries and cream cheese, this decadent French Toast is so unbelievably delicious. Both our families guarantee that you’ll love it! The best part? We also included eggnog in this one. The combination of brioche, blueberries, cream cheese and eggnog is absolutely amazing!

What we don’t love is being stuck in the kitchen all day on Christmas. There’s nothing worse than celebrating Christmas with the dishes, and prepping food in the kitchen while everyone else is together in the family room. Christmas day is about being with family and friends and enjoying incredible food alongside everyone. If you’ve never made Christmas breakfast the night before, hang on because this recipe will be a game changer.

The Brioche bread for this recipe can be made early and put in the freezer. Start prepping this week! We promise you’ll thank us when you’re not rushing to figure out what to feed your company that’s here for the holidays. Not to mention, who doesn’t love the smell of fresh bread baking…

Let’s get slicing and prepping. Overnight French Toast is on the menu this year!
