Begin by melting the butter, dissolve the sugar and add the whipping cream. Boil for 5 minutes and upon cooling, let the indulgence begin.

This simple and luxurious caramel sauce uses literally 3 accessible ingredients! It’s creamy, smooth texture will tempt every palate of every age.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1 cup brown sugar packed

  • 1/2 cup whipping cream, not whipped 😉

Directions

  • Melt butter in medium saucepan on low heat.
  • Once fully melted, add brown sugar and while stirring, fully dissolve.
  • When sugar is completely dissolved, add whipping cream and continue to stir. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool at room temperature completely before refrigerating if wanting to store.
  • The superpowers are in the house, let the caramel indulgence begin.
