Baked Chicken Wings

That’s right! We said baked chicken wings….A much healthier option then the usual fried ones served. We know what you’re all thinking…baked wings…they’re just not the same. We would have agreed until we set out to make our recipe. CUT promise- these taste amazing! You won’t second guess baking chicken wings again. Pub style wings without the fat content of frying…pour a drink. Cheers!

Honestly, we couldn’t almost believe it ourselves. These wings have become a family staple in our homes. They’re so good! We would have never guessed how easy it could be too. Why haven’t we done this years ago? All these years of not enjoying pub-style wings? Lol, Stacey could have cried!

We’re sure you’re all wondering why our pictures are showing two different types of wings? Guess what?! We’re giving you two different end results with the same recipe. Crazy enough, they taste completely different and the only thing changed is the addition of CUT flour. You decide your favourite!

The most important thing when making wings are the spices! Don’t be afraid to really mix things up. We started with a small amount of spice because we were worried the kids wouldn’t like it. Guess what? The more spice we added, the more they loved it! Not a heat spice, but more complexity in taste.

We decided that with the addition of flour you’ll have more of a typical pub style wing. If you don’t add it, look for an end result that tastes more fresh. More of a “mediterranean” taste.

Whether you add the flour or not, the method is the same. Grab your chicken wings – drums and wings and get shaking!

Be sure to coat them well within the bag with all your seasoning and lay on a baking sheet to cook.

That’s it! Go ahead and bake them and you’re on your way to having pub style wings at home!! Pour the hot sauce and pull out the blue-cheese dressing…it’s appie night 🙂 If you missed our last blog entry, check out our incredible blue-cheese dressing to pair with these wings. https://cutcooking.com/blue-cheese-dressing/
